WAICU staff participates in college fairs and presents at high school events around the state and welcomes the opportunity to do more. Additionally, WAICU provides special focus outreach for:
- Veterans: Veterans can get a brief overview of benefits for which they may qualify on WAICU campuses and learn whom to contact with regards to benefits and enrollment.
- Foster Youth: Foster youth, their caretakers, and educators can find a list of campus contacts for each campus regarding specific opportunities, questions or concerns.
- Transfer Students: Students interested in transferring to a WAICU-member campus can find information on transfer-specific campus contacts and how to schedule a campus visit.
- Students with Disabilities: Every WAICU campus has a liaison or office that works with students with physical, learning, or other disabilities to make education accessible for all students.
- Financial Aid: WAICU co-sponsors College Goal Wisconsin, an organization which holds annual events for students and families to receive help in filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Private College Week: WAICU works with our members to provide unique visit and informational opportunities for students and families during the second full week in July.
