Alli Reed, St. Norbert College’s study abroad and off-campus programs advisor, was selected to participate in the Education in Ireland site visit in October 2022. The Irish government sponsored the visit for a select group of study abroad professionals from across the United States.
“I was honored to be selected for this competitive award from Edu- cation in Ireland,” Reed said. “Since Ireland is one of our top study abroad destinations, it was the perfect opportunity to learn more about all that Ireland has to offer our students. Since the pandemic created challenges to connecting with our international partners in person, I was excited about reconnecting with our Irish partners. I enjoyed networking with other education abroad professionals from all over the United States.”
The site visit welcomed the small group of study abroad professionals from the United States to visit five Irish universities. The itinerary included campus visits and meetings with faculty, international office staff, and current study abroad students to learn more about the academics and the student experience in Ireland.
