WAICU's members put students first. 

Ever since its founding, WAICU's top priority has been supporting educational opportunity.  WAICU members are doing their part to make college affordable for all qualified students.  In the 2005-2006 school year, our 20 members provided more than $247.7 million in privately raised financial aid that directly benefits students. 

The State of Wisconsin is an important partner in these efforts.  The Wisconsin Tuition Grant (WTG) is the State's principal means-tested financial aid program for Wisconsin students attending a Wisconsin private college or university.  In 2006-2007, the WTG program assisted more than 9,000 Wisconsin students.  Contact your legislators and ask them to support funding for the Wisconsin Tuition Grant.
