Kidnap & Ransom Insurance

The WAICU Kidnap and Ransom Insurance program is specific to the needs of higher education. The policy offers WAICU members four different levels of coverage, available at a deeply discounted rates. The policy offers worldwide protection for WAICU members and their employees, students, volunteers, and any persons attending or participating in an activity organized by the insured school. Program highlights include coverage for ransom and hostage situations, expatriate security evacuation, travel security evacuation, disappearance investigation and expense, threat response expense, and child abduction.
